Spring Green Recipes – let us shop and make it for you!

Stuffed PeppersWe love the spring fling of Farmer’s Markets – so many fresh, green things to choose from! We’re constantly on the look out for new ideas to bring our clients who rely on us for groceries and/or food preparation.  Always need a new rotation in the recipe plan – and a new season is the perfect time to make that happen!

To celebrate the bounty of spring, we’re sharing a few links to the interesting recipes and menus we want to try.  Especially the slow cooker recipes – which we love for both our own families and our clients we cook for.  The whole make ahead and forget aspect appeals to the busy!

We had come to think of the slow cooker as something that gets shelved once the weather warms, but Better Homes and Garden recipes like the Pho Lettuce Wraps and White Bean Salad make us keep that crock pot at hand all year round.

Pho Lettuce Wraps

And to have a menu suggestion such that Cooking Light offers in their spring recipe feature?  Perfect when you don’t want to have to plan out a main dish plus side, side, salad.

Spring Luncheon

The Southern Living folks offer up a lemon veggie pasta – those ingredients went on Cynda’s grocery list as soon as we found this site.  And there are strawberry rhubarb options!  Always a spring fave.

Pea Salad

Let us know if you try and love these recipes.  Or better yet, let us come cook them up for you!  We’d love to hit the farmers markets on your behalf and help you to the tastes of spring.
