It’s Time to Plan Your Summer Celebration!

by Karen on June 23, 2016

Many of us have memories of summers spent outside with friends and family. Whether it’s Father’s Day, a graduation party, 4th of July, wedding/baby showers, or just a fun get together, we’re talking summer parties in today’s blog! So, what’s one of the most important aspects of party planning?

Location, location, location!

Part of a great party is where it takes place! When planning your event, think about what type of venue would fit the occasion. Some people worry about weather conditions more than others which is why it’s important to take the time to consider all of your options.

A Park:

Many parks have great indoor options for your guests should the weather not cooperate. Reach out to a local park near you to see what types of buildings they have on the grounds!

Your Backyard:Summer Celebrations!

Want to showcase your personal home? No sweat! Your backyard is the perfect location for a graduation party. There’s no need to worry about indoor shelter and guests can have the choice of soaking in the sun or the air conditioning!

The Pool:

If the heat is simply too much to bear, research where you can have your party at a public pool (of course if you have a pool of your own, even better!). This is the perfect location for a party where there will be lots of children since they can entertain themselves for hours swimming! Many times public pools will have snack bars or cafeterias, so you may not even have to worry about cooking food either!

Now that we’ve given you some ideas, brainstorm where you would love to see your guests! A Second Me can help you research the perfect venue and once you’ve made a decision, let us do the work! We’ll get the groceries and even prepare the dishes. You should see how efficient we are in a party store! While we’re at it, there’s no sense in letting your hands cramp which is why we can write the invitations.

Make your party fun, stress-free, and easy! Let us know how you think we should help prepare for a party this summer on Twitter!
